We follow the intertwining threads of the life of Peter Freuchen, a Danish explorer who claimed to have fashioned a life-saving chisel from his own frozen faeces in 1926. He was captured by the Nazi’s during WW2 in Denmark but managed to escape! Through to the luxury of his later life as the husband of a Vogue illustrator in New York, writing books about his expeditions and as an advisor to Hollywood about how the arctic should look on film. He had also acted in flms in the 1930s. Don’t believe us? Look him up on IMDB. Did we mention that he had 3 wives and won America's $64 million dollar question...
