Lindsey Garwood

Lindsey is a classically trained actor, attending the BRIT School and East 15 Acting School. She is also very experienced in improvised theatre and is co-director of the Closer Each Day Company, which produces the Bristol phenomenon that is Closer Each Day: The Improvised Soap Opera. She has performed in a variety of productions all round the UK and in Spain and the USA. As well as acting, writing, producing and directing shows, Lindsey has been a dancer, a pirate radio host, a scuba-diving conservationist and is a registered tour guide for the South-West. Lindsey has travelled the world and had some incredible adventures, but never used her own poo for a chisel…yet

John Lomas

John is an actor, writer, director and facilitator from Bristol. He is the Artistic Director of Closer Each Day: the Improvised Soap Opera which has run at Wardrobe Theatre since 2011 and is now the longest improvised narrative in the world, and the longest running UK theatre show of any kind outside of London. He is the founder of the 26 Hour Bristol Improv Marathon and The Unscripted Players, the UK’s first amateur theatre company specialising in improvisation. Recent acting credits include The Outlaws (BBC), cult Bristol film The Fence, The Interrogation of Tony Martin (C4), Meet the Humans (BBC) and Daniel Morgan (C4). His writing credits include The Bristol Hum (Bristol Old Vic), The 24 Hours Plays and Thy Name Is Woman (Bath Theatre Royal) and Mantelpiece Theatre (BBC Radio).
